Highlights

If you haven’t heard about OnePlus just yet, the smartphone we’ll be talking about shortly will surely blow your expectations and opinions about the company out of the water. This Chinese manufacturer has surely got what it takes to be the best in the world and its latest and greatest OnePlus 3T is the smartphone that is a sure shot warning to all those big boys out there.

Build quality and display

Nearly 100% identical to its predecessor, the OnePlus 3, this smartphone is as sumptuously built as are the features underneath its beautiful body. The device consists of a full metal frame with a pinch of iPhone 6S-ish antenna bands while the front, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, somewhat mirrors the Samsung Galaxy A7 2016. Its dimensions deserve a special mention due to the device’s 158g weight and a sleek 7.4mm width.

Talking about its display, the OnePlus 3T features newer technology that promises more brightness and sharpness within lesser pixels; it features a 5.5 inches Optic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 401ppi pixel density. This translates to cutting-edge 1080p HD resolution making the OnePlus 3T capable on all fronts.

Cameras

OnePlus has made a name for itself of which large credit goes to its cameras. Since day one, they’ve stood up to the plate and have always performed well against their adversaries. There’s no reason to doubt that the OnePlus 3T cannot do that with its 16 megapixel primary sensor with OIS and phase detection while its selfie sensor stands toe to toe with its primary one as it’s exactly the same size as its primary counterpart. Simply wow!

Hardware and software

The OnePlus 3T is powered by a powerful Quad-Core processor with an additional 6GB of RAM. The emphasis is surely on the large amount of RAM here rather than the Hexa-Core or Octa-Core processors and this is supreme power to run the built-in Android Nougat. Speaking of that, it will become OnePlus’s first smartphone to come with Android Nougat out of the box.

The smartphone is marketed in two 64/128GB internal storage variants while a fingerprint scanner, Dash Charge technology, USB type-C and a large 3400 mAh are its other special mentions.
