How many Oppo F5 variants are available in Pakistan?
Oppo introduced three variants of Oppo F5 in Pakistan namely, Oppo F5, Oppo F5 6GB and Oppo F5 Youth. Let’s talk about the similarities and differences in these three variants. The only major difference between Oppo F5 and Oppo F5 6GB is of the Internal Storage and the RAM. Oppo F5 comes with 32GB of Storage with 4GB of RAM while F5 6GB comes with 64GB of Storage with 6GB of RAM. Apart from RAM, there is also one unique gift attached to Oppo F5 6GB variant and that is the exclusive Red color. Out of the three variants the Red color option is only available for Oppo F5 6GB variant which make this variant more special and worthy to pick.
F5 Youth has some basic features cut off just to drop the price and make it more budget friendly. Display wise both phones house exactly the same panel. Both phones offer 6.0 inches IPS LCD display with 1080x2160 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Both phones house Mediatek MT6763T Helio P23 chipset which is a 16nm octa-core processor. Memory wise F5 comes with 32GB of Storage with 4GB of RAM and F5 Youth comes with 32GB of Storage with 3GB of RAM. A major difference between the two variants can be seen in the camera department where Oppo F5 houses a 16MP main camera and a 20MP selfie shooter in comparison with 13MP main and a 16MP selfie shooter of F5 Youth. Both phones are powered by 3200 mAh battery and come in Black and Gold color options.
Is Oppo F5 worth buying?
The Oppo F5 is a bit of an oddity. It has a small-bezel ultra-widescreen display and a super-high-resolution selfie camera. Plus, Oppo’s ColorOS software continues to diverge from the design style seen in the vanilla version of Android. Aside from some camera niggles, the main issue for Oppo is that similar-price phones using the Snapdragon 625 and 630 processors are better for gaming. Also, the plastic rear of the Oppo F5 could prove a turn-off, especially when metal finishes are available at this price from the Moto G series and Honor phones. Heading towards the verdict, Oppo F5 isn’t a bad option, particularly if you like taking selfies.
