Samsung has put its foot on the accelerator and let all hell loose in 2016. The company has brought tremendous improvements in all its releases. Be it flagships or the mid to low rangers, all of its devices are seeing some staggering improvements which brings us to another one of these; the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime. So how does it differ from others?
The Galaxy J7 Prime will feature a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 401ppi pixel density. This results in a gorgeous 1080p resolution which is sure to bring a crisp graphical performance. The display features some enormous improvements over its predecessor and it’s quite amazing as to how Samsung has managed to pull these off by staying within similar price limits.
When it comes to its build quality, we’re not sure as to what kind of material the back will feature. What we’re sure off is that it’ll be a unibody design and the smartphone will be 8.1mm at its thickest. Of course everyone would prefer a metal unibody but the J7 Prime will also look good with the plastic anyway.
When it comes to Samsung, we don’t really feel the need to review their cameras as they’ve always performed extremely well. That being said, the Galaxy J7 Prime features a 100% similar primary camera to the J7 2016 with a 13 megapixel sensor. The secondary sensor also comes in at a respectable 8 megapixel size. Both of the cameras have the required muscle to produce excellent results and there’s no reason to doubt them anyway.
Before we move on to the next category, the J7 Prime will also feature a front facing LED meaning that your selfie taking prowess will take a giant step forward.
The J7 Prime comes with plenty of processing power. Other than a powerful 1.6GHz Octa-Core Cortex-A53 processor, it contains 3GB of RAM which should prove adequate enough to run the built-in Android Marshmallow.
The smartphone is manufactured in a 32GB internal storage base model though it can be further expanded through the external card slot. Fingerprint sensor integration is also good news bringing an end to another excellent 2016 release from Samsung.
