The year 2016 has brought us with many surprises and soon to come announcements from many different companies. Like every year, the giants of the smartphone world such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG etc. aim to topple each other with the bestest of devices that would put each other to shame. Sony has been active thus far in 2016. One of its latest and some say greatest devices was announced some time ago. This device was to be the finest and in our personal opinion, it seems on par with the best of the Sony Xperia Z series. Ladies and gentlemen, we’re referring to none other than the Sony Xperia X Performance.
The Sony Xperia X Performance is Sony’s latest and greatest shot at producing something of the highest order. Be it in terms of performance, camera or design, Xperia X Performance is excellence in all three.
Like most other Sony devices, the Xperia X performance also follows a similar design with Xperia Z-ish type looks albeit this time doing the business with metal rather than glass.
An excellent IPS LCD with 441ppi pixel density capacitive touchscreen gets its display underway. The IPS LCD and 441ppi pixel density complement each other very well to provide a crispy interface to work on. 1080p HD resolution is also provided on the strong scratch-resistant and oleo-phobic coating protected touchscreen.
The primary camera has a gigantic 23 megapixel sensor that is going to capture stunning photos and videos. Aided by an f/2.0 aperture lens and phase detection autofocus technology, the Sony Xperia X Performance will spark life into your camera. The secondary camera is the shorter of the two giants coming in at 13 megapixels, f/2.0 aperture size and HDR capability. Ultimate selfie experience, delivered.
The Xperia X Performance is powered by a mammoth Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo supported by 3GB of RAM which is going to make everything from running the Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow to simply turning pages as fast as a bullet train. The internal memory stands at a satisfying 32 gigs further expandable through the SD card slot. Fast charge and dust plus water proof technology deserve a special mention as well.
