Galaxy A9 Pro: expected price and launch date in Pakistan

Galaxy A9 Pro

2016 has already proven to be one of the best Samsung years to date. Despite that, the company isn’t ready to rest on its laurels just yet and we’re expected to see another impending release in a couple of months time in the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro.

The “Pro” keyword is a new way of coming up with a slightly powerful variant of an already released smartphone. They’re mostly released within a year of each other while Samsung has already been making use of it since the days of the J3 Pro or even before that. Let’s get you acquainted with Samsung’s latest upcoming smartphone.

What is the Galaxy A9 Pro?

Well, as mentioned earlier, Pro models are a more powerful variant of their slightly earlier released counterpart. This is certainly the case with the A9 Pro but it’s sure to pack a punch due to its muscular specifications.

The smartphone features a similar build design to the one the A series has been making use off throughout 2016 and we were thoroughly amazed while testing the A7 2016 about their finesse. The smartphone comprises of two front and back glass panels, both with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection which makes them look glossy but on the other hand also keeps takes their strength to newer levels. A nicely finished metal frame sits between the two which gives the smartphone genuine premium looks.

It weighs in at 210g which is a tad overzealous but this can be attributed to its all glass built and large battery inside. Its 7.9mm width is superb considering how much stuff and a very large screen is embedded on the smartphone.

The device makes use of similar processors and other internal hardware compared to the A9 2016. It is powered by a Quad-Core processor with 4GB of RAM. This combination is as deadly as it seems on paper and it’ll have no problems in smoothly running the built-in Android Marshmallow.

Some of its other blazing features include a responsive fingerprint sensor, Fast Charge technology and a humongous 5000 mAh battery which should prove adequate enough to provide more than a day’s worth of battery time. Oh, one more thing to remember! It features 32GB internal storage too.

Display

The A9 Pro is a true phablet because it features a wonderful larger than life Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. It measures 6.0 inches in size while pixel density stands at 367ppi. This translates into a nifty 1080p HD resolution and its combination together with the larger 6 inches screen makes you feel like having a mini home theater in your palm.

Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, the front panel and display feel very nice to touch but on the other hand do not compromise on their hardness and durability at all.

Cameras

The cameras department is where the A9 Pro has received a small increment compared to its counterpart, the A9 2016. The smartphone features two stunning shutters and we’re not at all surprised to say that their results are outstanding considering Samsung’s already excellent prowess with smartphone cameras.

Statistically speaking, the A9 Pro houses a marvelous 16 megapixel primary sensor with OIS and an LED flash. OIS is music to ears for all those who understand the camera language as this enables much sharper and vivid photography. The selfie camera is no slouch either as it features a large 8 megapixel sensor which should go well both with your selfie needs and the large 6.0 inches display. Needless to say, photography and video recording are very well catered for by both cameras.

Expected launch price and release date in Pakistan

The Galaxy A9 Pro recently reached India’s shores and we’re optimistic that it’ll become available in Pakistan within a couple of weeks or so. Its price in India suggests that we could be looking at a figure close to 55,000 rupees in our country which is quite the amount we expected the A9 Pro to land. Keep an eye out on its latest prices on our website, by visiting A9 Pro price in Pakistan.

To sum it up, we believe that the A9 Pro is an excellent smartphone because of what it offers. However, in this price you can definitely get your hands on better smartphones such as the Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S7 and even the iPhone 6S when the the iPhone 7 will be hitting the shelves in a matter of months. Spend wisely!
