Samsung Galaxy On7 2016: expected launch date & price in Pakistan

Samsung Galaxy On7 2016: specs, price and expected launch date in Pakistan

Well here we go again. Samsung is back with yet another mid-ranger seen as an incredible upgrade on its predecessor. We’ve seen many J and A series models receiving 2016 upgrades so there was no reason for the Korean company not to give the On7 its fair share of renovation; enter On7 2016.

What is the Galaxy On7 2016?

2016 has seen Samsung not only release some notable flagships but also flex their muscles when it comes to producing high quality mid-rangers. The On7 2016 is a successor to the not so popular Galaxy On7 from 2015 and we’re optimistic that the new sheriff in town might probably restore law and order back.

The On7 2016 features excellent specifications for a mid-ranged smartphone. Starting off with its gorgeous 5.5 inches 1080p HD display. These two are well known to produce a lethal combo as a large screen and an abundance of pixels results in a crisp and bright display. Its dimensions are adequate; an 8mm width and 167g in weight.

With regards to the smartphone’s build quality, it is all plastic with a sprinkle of metal between the front and back panels. The back panel is finely finished (kind of like the Note4’s back panel) but it features a non-removable 3300 mAh battery underneath that is finely poised to provide good battery life though.

Now we’ll jump to its performance; the On7 2016 is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor with 3GB of RAM. That’s quite some processing power for a mid-ranger and we believe it’s one of the strongest smartphones within the price we’ll be talking about in a while. The internal storage banks at 32GB which is quite a satisfying amount whereas the added fingerprint sensor and Fast Charge technology keeps the smartphone up to speed with the ever changing requirements of the world.

Before we head onto the pricing, there’s this small matter of cameras that we forgot to tell you about; the On7 2016’s primary camera features a 13 megapixel sensor while the selfie camera also features a large 8 megapixel sensor. Both the sensors are loaded with power which will ensure excellent photography.

What is its expected launch price in Pakistan?

As mentioned before, the On7 2016 is said to target the mid-range smartphone category which for us means something in between 25-40,000 rupees. This smartphone duly places itself between these extrema with an expected price between 25,000 to 27,000 rupees.

The smartphone’s expected official price is $240 which equates to 25,120 rupees but since these prices in dollars have never stayed true to their word when it comes to our country, we do expect the On7 2016’s price to deviate a bit upwards.

When will the Galaxy On7 release in Pakistan?

Since Samsung officially sells smartphones in Pakistan, you won’t have to wait much as is the case with the latest iPhone and iPhone 7 Plus’s late revelations. The smartphone is expected to hit our shores come first week of October so start preparing yourself and making your mind up about this upcoming newbie.

To end our thoughts, we genuinely believe that the On7 is going to be a massive hit because of what it offers in the price it commands. Long gone are the times when this amount of cash only fetched the disappointing Galaxy Core Primes and the Galaxy Grand Primes and by the looks of it, Samsung is finally making amends to these previous disappointments.

As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the upcoming release from Samsung especially if its price merits its specs or did it do enough to impress you. Note that the images may be subject to change as we’ve found reputable websites posting contradictory images of the Galaxy On7 2016 on the Internet.
