March 21, 2016 was the day when Apple’s first blockbuster attempt in producing a mid-range iPhone was made public. For years, Apple has been heavily criticized for its hesitance to create something more affordable. The iPhone’s pricing, though they have dominated the market whenever they’ve been released, has attracted a significant amount of attention which is referred to as the biggest reason why people resort to Samsung.
Quite possibly, Apple has finally taken this into account and have sought to end its allegation of being unreasonably pricey by introducing the iPhone SE. We still don’t know as to what ‘SE’ means yet but what we do know is that it starts at $399 dollars which is quite a cheap amount when it comes to an iPhone. In a nutshell, the iPhone SE is a cross between the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6S. It has the body of a 5S and the specifications of a 6S. This could be Apple’s most profitable iPhone ever.
The iPhone SE promises elegance and performance in true parallelism. We all know as to how big a beast the iPhone 6S is and the SE is simply just as powerful as Apple’s latest flagship device. It is a significant improvement on the iPhone 5S. To recap its features for you, we start with its 4.0 inches Retina display at 326 ppi pixel density. 326 ppi is, as Apple says, the Retina quality. Its processor has also received a huge boost to a Dual-core 1.84 Ghz Twister which is by far, the fastest processor in a smartphone today and also contains the Apple A9 64-bit architecture chipset as well.
Its snapper is the all new 12 megapixel iSight camera which has been simply stunning ever since it made its way into iPhones. The selfie camera has a meagre 1.2 megapixels though but Apple’s cameras have always been benchmarks. It is also available in the rose gold color meaning you can get it in 4 different colors like the iPhone 6S.
What can we say? Apple’s first mid-range smartphone is simply stunning. It offers the best performance in the world and the design has also been well acclaimed ever since the days of the 5S. For those who harbor dreams of a 6S but cannot get it due to financial reasons, close your eyes and simply splash the cash on the iPhone SE without thinking twice.
