It’s been nearly two decades since HTC’s inception. The Taiwanese giants have developed into one of the greatest technology companies in the world. Their primary products are the smartphones and tablets. HTC has developed a habit of producing some of the world’s best smartphones. Their smartphones are found in all price ranges and this is one of the reasons HTC is extremely widespread in all kinds of people.
The M series epitomizes what HTC is all about. It comprises of the best of the company and includes the HTC One M7 and One M8 which have won smartphone of the year awards. The HTC One M8 alone is responsible for a significant part of HTC’s revenue which explains what an excellent invention it has been. This prompted HTC to develop another variant of it to further boost its cash reserves, the HTC One M8 Eye.
The HTC One M8 Eye is like a twin brother to the M8. There is only one significant difference between the two. That being the camera. The HTC M8 houses a dual 4 megapixel sensor whereas the M8 eye houses a significantly larger 13 megapixel sensor, hence the name M8 “Eye”.
It was developed exclusively for an even better camera experience. The 4 megapixels of the M8 was already a giant. One can only wonder how much better the 13 megapixel sensor of the M8 Eye will do. Otherwise, everything else from the dimensions to the screen size are exactly the same.
A Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 processor powered by 2GB of RAM, 5.0 inches Super LCD3 441 ppi pixel density capacitive touch screen and 16GB of internal memory with the option to expand it further to 128GB are some of its standout features.
The HTC One M8 Eye is even better than the M8 because of its camera. If you’re in love with the M8, there is no reason why you will not like the M8 Eye. The only decision you need to make while deciding between the two is whether you’d like to spend some extra cash for a larger and better camera. Otherwise, as mentioned earlier, both are 99.9% twins in every aspect.
