Others such as Lenovo and Motorola have gone onto a merger in the hope of making a bigger name for themselves. Their latest and greatest Lenovo Motorola Moto Z is a true new generation smartphone and it just could be the pointer to how smartphones would function in the near future.

Build quality and display

The Lenovo Motorola Moto Z is one of the thinnest ever smartphones to ever grace mother Earth. Sitting pretty within a 5.2mm waist and a light as feather 136g weight are some of the most extreme specifications ever assembled inside a Lenovo or Motorola made smartphone. The back panel is non-removable and contains a set of pins that make use of new guilt-edge technology known as MotoMods.

The smartphone features a vivid 5.5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 534ppi pixel density. This translates into a QHD 1440p resolution that has a knack of putting some of the best graphics on a platter for its users to enjoy.

The Lenovo Motorola Moto Z is powered by a Quad-Core processor with an additional 4GB of RAM. This is more than enough to lag-freely run the built-in Android Lollipop but this isn’t what’ll excite you the most; we mentioned something about MotoMods previously.

These are magnetic removable back covers that add further functionality to the smartphone. You simply have to plug them on via the pins at the smartphone’s back and enjoy some nifty additions that include greater battery life, Insta-Share mod that works like a projector and SoundBoost.

Its sleek width means no headphone jack and you’ll have to make use of the USB-type C converter more often than usual.
