Affordability is a key factor whenever a person decides to buy anything, let alone smartphones. With the QMobile X29, even the tightest of budgets can create breathing space for its purchase as the device features a launch price of only 4800 rupees.
Design, display and build quality
What seems like a small downgrade on the QMobile Noir i6 Metal, the smartphone features a plain design with three capacitive buttons at its front bottom bezel. A wholly plastic exterior encapsulates its hardware and at its front panel, we’re seeing a 4.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 240ppi pixel density. Translating into a 480p resolution, it’ll go fine with the small sized display but don’t expect to have the graphics of your life atop this display!
Oh boy! Two cameras!
The X29, despite featuring two extremely weak sensors, has made us happy by featuring a set of cameras rather just a primary one. It was understandable if the device ditched the selfie sensor altogether but now everyone can own a 2 megapixel primary sensor and a VGA selfie sensor within 5000 rupees!
All good but the RAM kills the celebrations a bit
That’s because the smartphone features 512MB of RAM while the 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 8 gigs of expandable internal storage are commendable. Dual-SIM and a 1300 mAh battery are its other important features while you can choose to buy it from 4 different colour schemes.
