What is the display size of Galaxy Fold?

Samsung Galaxy Fold houses the standard 4.6” display on the front where you can use it as a portable smartphone that can be placed in your jeans pocket without any hassle. When you unfold the device than it converts into a massive 7.3” display converting the device into tablet mode. The beauty of the two displays is that they are synced together which allows you to continue the tasks on a bigger screen when you unfold the device.

When will be the Galaxy Fold available in the Market?

The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available for the customers not before than April at the steamy price of $ 1,980. It seems that Samsung is marketing the Fold as a luxury device rather than a necessary one. So if you are in the market for a tablet than you might get plenty of better options in much lower price tag. However, the convenience of using a single device as a phone and a tablet at the same time is only attached with the Galaxy Fold but off course at a much insane price tag.

Will the Galaxy Fold be durable enough?

Samsung did not allow the attendees of the unpacked event to test the revolutionary Galaxy Fold. The demo was given with the pre-production unit hence there was no unit placed on display as well for the media team and journalists. Galaxy Fold is introducing the new era of smartphone technology. It is the engineering masterpiece where the best of the elements are utilized to convert this design into physical form factor. However, the questions still raise regarding the durability of the device where Samsung has ensured the quality with the live working demo in front of hundreds of people.

What’s up with the weird floaty front display?

Galaxy Fold has 4.6” of display when folded on the form factor too big to house 7.3” of display when unfolds. The display size of folded device seems a bit smaller as per the current industry standards. 4.6” reminds the display of smaller iPhone 7 and 8 from old ages. The device itself seems a bit thinner when folds which make the size of the display thinner with huge bezels on top and bottom. Worse yet, the Galaxy Fold’s 4.6-inch display essentially floats in the middle of a much larger physical chassis.
