Product Description

Curved screens are one of the newest introductions in smartphones. They bring some extra functionality, a little more viewable screen and nicer look to a device. Samsung initially introduced much bigger projects when it comes to curved/bendable screens including OLED devices but for now, you’ll have to make do with curved screens in Galaxy S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and now Samsung’s newest flagbearer, the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Galaxy S series has always composed of Samsung’s biggest and baddest devices. It has established itself as the flagbearer with all of its devices being in the higher end of the price chain. The S series began somewhere near 2010 and has since gone on to make Samsung one of the biggest smartphone companies in the world.

The Galaxy S7 Edge has reignited the status of the S series as the focal-point series of Samsung with some excellent features which include dual SIM support and internal storages of either 32 or 64 gigs. If that isn’t enough for you, you can expand it upto 200GB through the memory card slot. The CPU comes in with Quad-core 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 + quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 and the support of mammoth 4GB of RAM is surely going to beef up its performance.

The camera features 12 megapixels and f/1.7 aperture lens with a sensor size of 1/2.6” that is going to capture even more detail which will take your breath away. The front camera has a 5 megapixel sensor which will ensure your selfies are never wayward. Regarding its build, S7 Edge is 7.7 mm thin, weighs 157 g with a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen all protected in the newest version of the Corning Gorilla Glass.

S7 Edge comes with the latest Android v6.0 Marshmallow and its curved screen brings in some nice added functionality that you will not get with the simple S7. It also comes in with Quick Charge 2.0 which is tested to a 60% battery charge in just 30 minutes.

We personally like the Edge feature. It certainly makes the smartphone look much more appealing. The question is, is it really worth the extra cash? If you can afford it, yes. If not then please don’t push yourself into going for the S7 Edge. The simple one will do you as good as the Edge version.
