Sony has a proud history with smartphones containing the prefix Ultra. That bromance looks all set to continue with the Xperia XA1 Ultra, announced at MWC 2017, hitting the shelves on April 26th 2017 and with a price-tag close to 41,000 rupees.
You’ve seen this design before
Design-wise, the Xperia XA1 Ultra features a similar design to the Xperia XA Ultra with a full-metal body and thick bezels above and below the display. Dimensions wise, the smartphone is pretty gigantic because of its 6 inches display but fortunately, its 188g weight and 8.1mm width remain within acceptable bounds.
A smartphone made for large display lovers
We’ve already mentioned the size of the XA1 Ultra’s display but going into a little more detail, it’s an IPS LCD touchscreen with 367ppi pixel density. Allowing 1080p HD resolution, the 6.0 inches display and HD resolution will combine to devastating effect.
Not just a huge display but huge camera sensors as-well
Featuring a 23 megapixel primary sensor and a 16 megapixel selfie one, the smartphone contains loads of snapping firepower on both fronts.
Prepare to live in the fast-lane
With the XA1 Ultra featuring an octa-core processor with 4 gigs of RAM, you better be ready to live in the fast-lane. Coming with either 32/64 gigs of internal storage, fast charging, USB type-C and a rather underpowered 2700 mAh battery, the XA1 Ultra is touted to do a great job in the market.
