The year 2016 is upon us putting the year 2015 in the past. 2015 was a year when some of the best smartphones ever to grace the smartphone world came into existence. Apple came out with its iPhone 6S and Samsung released the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Forgetting about the LG G4 would definitely be a mistake. All of these smartphones were head and shoulders above the rest and it was worth wondering at that time that how will these babies get further improvement.
HTC developed the M9 last year. They did not stop there and went on to release two further variants of it namely the M9+ and the M9s. The M series is the heart and soul of the company but some other noticeable releases last year included the excellent HTC One E9. Not quite M series material but not a gulf behind.
The HTC One E9 is a mid-range smartphone with superb qualities. Whether it is its camera or day to day performance, the E9 performs extremely well in all aspects. The E9 looks a lot like the M8 and M9 from the front. Two speakers above and below the screen has become a trademark look of the M series and the E9 can be easily mistaken for one.
The HTC One E9 not only looks similar to the M8 and M9 but it also comes in very close in terms of its performance. A huge 5.5 inches display with HTC Sense UI 7.0 will be of significant attraction to you if you prefer larger screen sizes. Its nearly as good as the M8 and will perform exceptionally well because of its powerful Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor supported by 2GB of RAM.
The camera comes in at 13 megapixels primary and 4 megapixels secondary. HTC’s cameras have always performed commendably and there is no doubt that the E9’s camera will step up to the plate as well.
The HTC One E9 is very good in all respects. I particularly like the way how HTC has managed to keep its weight at 147g which is extremely good when you look at how big the phone is. All in all, indeed a good choice to go for.
