Well well well, what do we have here? QMobile seems to have done some homework on its mid-ranged devices that seems to culminate in the QNote; a smartphone purely made for those who cannot afford to splash the cash but on the other hand, would give anything to own a big screen smartphone.
Refined design complimented by a big screen upfront
What we disliked about QMobile’s designing was the fact that monotony started to settle in all of its products. The QNote somewhat follows that trend but its overall acceptable build quality and metallic exterior saves its face for us.
Now for its crowning feature; the smartphone features a bigger than many 6.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 320ppi pixel density. Equating to a 720p resolution, that’s the QNote’s strongest point and definitely tips the scales in its favour.
The negatives are starting to creep in
From here, most of the smartphone’s features will be going downhill. Starting with the cameras department; what we have here is a 5 megapixel primary sensor with an LED flash while the secondary sensor features 2 megapixels worth of power.
The device’s processing power falls way short of the standards set by the gigantic display because the quad-core processor is backed-up by 1GB RAM only. 8GB of internal storage, dual-SIM and a 2500 mAh battery are all you need to know about the QNote.
PS: pay a little extra and go for the Infinix Hot 4.
