Thanks to Meizu, the smartphone markets in Pakistan have further heated-up a little bit. Thanks to their competitive, affordable smartphones like the M5, more and more premium-feeling devices are now within the hands of the masses. Speaking only of the M5, the smartphone commands an affordable 15,100 rupees price-tag.
Nifty build quality and display
We’ve gotten our hands on the Meizu M2, to which the M5 is a direct successor and we were very happy with its build quality. The same can be said of the M5 who features a similar metal design with a 138g weight and a 5.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 282ppi pixel density. 720p resolution is a must which goes well with a display size like this.
Cameras
Like the M3 Note, the Meizu M5 features a 13 megapixel primary sensor with an LED flash, geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection, autofocus etc. and a 5 megapixel selfie sensor. All seems well in the cameras department.
As expected, some satisfactory hardware
Apart from its Samsung-ish looks because of a home key with an embedded fingerprint scanner, the M5 features an octa-core processor with 2 gigs of RAM, dual-SIM capability, a non-removable 3070 mAh battery, 16 gigs of internal storage with an external card slot and 5 different colour schemes for you to choose its exterior from.
